Our Trip to Florida and the Caribbean

No Christmas this Year, Just our Vacation

At Sea World it felt as if we had the whole park to ourselves. There was a bit of rain, but we would take rain to crowds any day. We saw lots of great shows, and rode ride after ride without even getting off the rides.

The weather was nicer the next day at Disney World. There was more people, but we were able to ride the rides we wanted to, and some several times using the fast pass.

When we left the park late at night, down main street, artificial snow was floating down, which Evalily reported the flakes tasted like soap. This was the first reminder- Oh Yeah, it is Christmas time, in 70 degree weather. You sometimes forget these things under such circumstances.

These are the shells that littered the ground at Marco Island. We were here for 3 days on the beach. Ellarose loved to put these in her mouth. Yuck!

We are on the 9th floor on our balcony, soon to be the shell sorting station.

The girls enjoying the sand and shells towards the evening.Ellarose and Evalily swimming with Dad in the pool, what a bunch of fish.

On the deck of the Epic. We are not experiencing much currents. I saw flying fish here. The girls loved the water park and slides. We didn't see much of the boys as they shared a cabin with their cousins. We saw several shows, and ate lots of food. We like the evening crepes. The girls like the all you can eat ice cream cones. We are on vacation!

We ate dinner at night with the family in the formal dining restaurant. That is the only time we saw everyone together. Those are long dinners that Ellarose didn't enjoy very much. Evalily fell asleep twice and split her chocolate milk twice. The service was excellent. The girls liked dancing to the live music.

This is in our cabin, keeping Ellarose entertained. Adryann and Evalily slept above this bed on bunks. Ellarose slept in between us. It was a bit tight quarters, but I just thought of it as sleeping in a luxury tent. The boys were in between us and the Czirr's cabin. Somehow they managed to show up for main group meetings and mealtimes.

We rode in this taxi to a beach. The island is

one of the virgin islands that is US territory. I didn't notice anything that resembled the US.
We saw wild large iguanas as we rode up and down narrow hillsides. A lot of cars were dented, and the drivers were crazy.

This is my sweet little marshmallow enjoying the ocean water. She liked the sand on her feet. She was out in
ocean waves with Scott for over an hour.

Nap timeAaryn at Nassau Bahamas. The sand was sticky like brown sugar, and the water was very blue.

Izaak our little sand digger. About 1 hour before he left, he and Adryann tried snorkeling and love it.

This is the monstrosity we were on for 7 days. 14 floors. 3 stops; St Thomas, St Marten, and Nassau on Norwegian Epic.

All exhausted after traveling, poor Adryann gets to be the pillow.

Our new little bundle of Joy - Ellarose

Well there is no way to make up for the 2 years that have past, and I am not interested in trying to catch up and fixed the undocumented history of my family. There is only one way to look, and that is forward when blogging. Not that I am commiting to become a better blogger, but in some way connecting my family with those bloggers out there in the world. With that said...

This is my new hobby and interest- Ellarose Jehzell Frewing. She is as soft as she looks, and so cuddly. I love all her little rolls, creavises, and dimples. She is a very demanding little girl, but my mom says I was the same way when I was a baby, so what can I say.

Our Spring Egg Hunt 2010

Let the Race begin.

Evalily in the garden looking all by herself for the eggs.

Mallori racing to find more eggs.

Cameron is trying to stay warm while looking for eggs.

Adryann and Kendra and Kaylee sit to look at their spoils.

Dad with Julie and Karl watching the hunt and talking.

Evalily crouches with her bag of eggs.

Aaryn with Brandon gloating. Aaryn found a jackpot in the chicken coop, a bucket full of eggs.

Sweet Izaak and his big smile. Izaak found the biggest cache of eggs.

Ethan with his award winning smile and his bag of loot.

Science Projects

Aaryn did his on Mummification. He used apples and applied various solids to them to see which substance had the best effects.

Izaak did his project on Baking powder and the effect it had in biscuits. Dad helped his with his project and I think that they had a good time together.

Adryann did her project on her collection of seashells she got from a Florida trip. We found a website that helped us identify the names of the shells.

A Night at the Ballet

Adryann and Evalily had a lovely girl's night out. They went with Grandma and mom and the girl cousins. We got all dressed up as princesses.

Adryann and Evalily got to meet some of the ballerinas from BYU

Even Prince Charming

Here is Cinderella

During the intermission they had all the girls who wanted to could come up and dance on the stage. Evalily jumped up and went front and center of the stage to dance. She was so cute, lifting her leg up and swinging to and fro. Adryann got stage fright and would not get up on the stage at all. It was a fun night.

St. Patrick's Day Race

Here are the racers. Izaak and Adryann did the 1K race, and Aaryn and I did the 5K race.

Aaryn did a great run, and beat me by bit, the little stinker. He is a great runner.

Izaak and Adryann ran side by side, until the end when Izaak put on the heat, so he would beat his little sister.

Izaak and Adryann with their ribbons and a healthy glow on their faces from exercise.
We all made it horray!!!

Palouse Falls

Palouse Falls is Magnificant!

Dad poses with the kids when we arrive at the falls.

The little mountian goats climb the rock and hold Evalily so she wont fall over the edge.

Izaak appears tough on the tracks. We saw a train go by while near the tracks. I think it fascinated the kids.

Aaryn watches the rolling rapids head for the falls.

Adryann finds a stick to carry around and be tough.

Mom and Evaliy sit and rest on a rock.

Dad and Evalily are standing right about the falls on a small finger of land. One side is the river heading to the falls. On the other side is a 500 foot drop off into the waterfall basin. Talk about a mother's worse nightmare. I had visions of losing a child off the falls, and I was a nervous wreck until we were off that cliff. My three greatest fears, a child dying, drowning, and falling of cliffs.
